Damaged rdp-143

Just went out to test some things on the boat and noticed the screen is damaged on my rdp-143 head unit. Having hard time finding another used 143 on the market, so what other head units are compatible with the wiring and set up I already have? Thank you in advance.

The RDP143 is a 7" NAVnet series one display from 2003. It could be upgraded to a 7" Vx2 display (RDP148) or downgraded to an older RDP131 or mono RDP130.

Will I be able to use all the same wiring that I currently have installed or will I have to require a new (used) 148?

Same wiring is used on all the mentioned units as your existing one.

With your help, I have located a rdp-148. Is there anything I need to do before swapping it on my console. Looks like a plug in play kind of switch as all connections are a go. Thanks.

No other than you will want set it up and check all the settings for your installation.

I swear I am not inadequate, but for the life of me I can’t get the radar to work with the new (Used) RDP 148. Not seeing the radar spin, no data shown. I checked settings, but not sure I know that I did all that correctly. I did download the manual for it, but what would you recommend for setup for this unit vs my old 143?

Did you ensure that the unit host name and radar source are the exactly the same?
Do you get STBY on screen or ****? When going to the radar screen.
