When using my Navnet VX2 one of the options was course up on the plotter display with the TZtouch 2 I can see North up and heads up is there a way to get course up? If not will this come in a later update?

No when on an established course, the "Head" of the boat is your course. The Vx2, NN3D, TZT, and TZT2 are all different series units and there will be changes depending on the series. No course up is not a feature coming to the TZT2.

I've just updated from NN3D 2.11 to 2.13.

Losing "Course Up" as a chart orientation option is not just an inconvenience, it is not cool.

My vessel is single engine and depending on the sea state, can swing +/- 20 degrees from course as she negotiates the swell. Now I get the added unpleasantness of watching the screen incessantly roll at the same rate as the boat.

I'm pretty sure I can't be alone in this disappointment.

Two questions please;

What was the thinking behind deleting 'Course Up'? and,

How many users will I need to muster to get you to put it back?

Thanks.

There have been no change to the display modes between versions 2.11 and 2.13. If you don't have a heading sensor, try taking the boat away from the dock and develop COG (course over ground) at three knots or better, and try the modes again. If you have a heading source (like from an autopilot), ensure it is turned on before trying.
