Configuring SCX-20

Hi,

I have a new SCX-20 on primarily B&G network (Zeus 3 chartploters, Triton 2, Edge processor etc).

I'm trying to configure SCX-20 with new Actisense NGX-1-USB but it does not work. I know that officialy only older Actisense NGT-1 is supported. But as it's is considered an end of life product I've aquired NGX-1 instead, hoping that SC configuration software will be updated soon.

Does anyone know if there is any current solution on how to use NGX-1 to run SC configuration software?

Unfortunately, the NGX-1 will not work. It has been reported. As of now only the CAN-USB converters listed in the SC Tool Software manual will work. I recommend using one of these. They are: Kvaser USBcan II or Leaf Light HS v2 M12; Lawicel CANUSB; or the Active Research Limited (Actisense) NGT-1-USB (since this model has been replaced--if must use this brand--find one used).

Thanks for the answer. Do you have any idea how soon NGX-1 could be supported? According to Actisense technically it could, but the SC configuration software would need to be updated.
Or is there no plan at all to do that?

All I can tell you is that it has been reported. I don't have any insight into when or if it will be done.
