Will the 1751 Open Array Scanner also work with the Furuno RDP131 NavNet Display?

I split your question off on its own rather than hijack an old Vx2 thread with this NavNet series one question.

The RDP131 NavNet one display [sold roughly 2002 until replaced with RDP143 in 2003] can support the 1751MK2 scanner (RSB0047-051) [sold roughly 1996-2002] but the scanner from the old original 1751 [sold roughly 1991-1995] is unknown. I would think it might, but I have nothing in my records to show it will. Mixing antiques is a bit tricky, but it shouldn't hurt anything to try it.
