I am running Navionics gold 2006, Gulf of Mexico on a NavNet vx2 program # 195002304.01.06 and the refresh on the chartplotter lags about six seconds. If I am moving slow trying to find a wreck in, say, 100' of water using the sounder and GPS functions together the lag is so long that in a slow (4 kt) turn I will overshoot 90 degrees before the unit catches up. I have position smoothing set at 001 and GPS options set at 2d. I have turned off most chart detail. No change. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
