CH250 searchlite sonar

Hi unit working great but the display is now completely sun damaged, can I use any other LCD monitor, can I get my damaged unit refurbished, is there anything I can do .
Would appreciate any help, I am remote Saudi Arabian Southern Red Sea and have a 22 day survey in 10 days don't have a GPS with sounder capability and I can't buy one got the money but the kingdom ain't got the sense of humor, or I could attaché a transducer to a scaffolding poles tie wire the the cable to it, lift the pole up when passaging and drop it down on site.
Struggling here guys.

have a fantastic navnet chart plotter also Furuno there is no such thing in Saudi as support and service, they take it and send it back as not usable, i sent it to Radio Holland Dubai they returned it saying unit OK plugged it in same fault i am afraid my confidence in the middle east as to support and service for anything electronic is zero, got two Dolphin Marine battery chargers fantastic units both with electronic faults no one will look at them, Jeddah is not a small city and a major seaport and still i am afraid no chance, hence i am going outside my box.
thank you anyway it was good of you to reply i will go back to the contact you sent me and see if anything as changed.
