CH-500 Sonar Range Settings

Gentlemen

I recently installed your CH-500 Sonar on my boat. I’m in the process of familiarizing myself with the different settings and came across something hopefully you can help with.

In the menu, specifically range settings (horizontal) what do the values 1-15 mean or better what do they represent when comparing to the range rings on the normal “scanning” screen display?

Smiler,

The CH500/CH600 provides display modes that show both a Horizontal mode (360° view around the vessel) and Vertical mode (cross section below the vessel), along with an Echo Sounder mode (just like a traditional fish finder). In the main menu, you can set these 15 present ranges for the Horizontal, Vertical, and Echo Sounder Modes to suit your needs based on your working depths.
