Benefits of network?

I am debating disconnecting the TZT2 unit that I primarily use for sonar from the ethernet hub. I am running 2 ea TZT2 units at the helm and I have a transducer plugged into each of the 2 ea TZT2 displays. I also have the DRS4NXT radar and I am running a NMEA2k network also.
I would then be able to view each transducer depth, temp individually. I would be able to view Loran coordinates on one and GPS on the other. I would also be able to view fathoms on one and feet on the other. There are calibrations and other settings that may be useful as well that would be possible without the auto change feature through the hub.
Besides not being able to view my radar on the unit that is disconnected what other features/functions would I loose by disconnecting?
Thanks

One thing you would lose is that any charts you purchased an unlock code for would only be available on the MFD you designated as the chart master. This would not matter if you are just using the free unlocked NOAA raster or vector data as they are still available to view on either MFD.

So far so good with disconnecting one of my TZT2 from the network. I now realize one of my transducers is going bad, I get temp swings of 20 degrees or more on one.
I am displaying
2 different temp sensors and depth from 2 different transducers,
Fathoms on one and feet on the other,
Loran coordinates on one and GPS on the other,

I could not accomplish this with the unit in the network and I have sacrificed radar on the second display to do it. I really, really hope the tech gurus fix this in a future update. I would imagine there are others that would like to see different units of measure displayed between the displays. You should be able to choose units of measure and source data on each display individually.
