Can I cut the 8 pin Garmin connector off and splice a 10 pin Furuno connector on this transducer and use it on a 1971? Garmin p/n GAR-010-11937-22

If you have the Airmar part number I might could offer some assistance. Probably the best to asked would be Airmar's tech support (Gemeco) at 843-210-7000. While most will work, sometimes the internal transformers are diffrent between manufacturers and not all are able to be cut off and used. Gemeco would be the best to know and most likely would know what that part number is compatible with.
