AIS, information from ships

AIS working great.
How do I consistently get the information provided, such as cpa, their speed etc

Have been able to hover over the ais target , sometimes get a box with that info

I'm on a new temp job an crossing Traffic separation , would like to consistently be able to get that information

Thank you all for shortening my learning curve, I'm a garmin guy .

Chapter 12 goes into good details about how to hide and show AIS and see the target info. Keep in mind that the target info is being transmitted by that other boat so it depends on the interval they are transmitting at what time the data will be available. It must be received to show.
