711c and Suzuki point lock

Hi,

Just after some information regarding point lock compatibility with furuno 711c and 2023 Suzuki 250 engine. I’m getting conflicting reports on my online research if this is possible with the 711c or if I will have to change my system to a navpilot 300 system.

Is anyone able to shed some light on this and perhaps also able to let me know if what hardware would be needed to make this work. Current system is tz2 12 inch with 711c and scx21 for heading.

Once you have a Suzuki fish hunter setup you must have rudder feedback information for point lock feature. That means using that information from your steering system if you have it or installing an outboard rudder reference unit. Once setup it is an amazing system.

@Johnny Electron while the documents make it clear, I must point out that Suzuki Drive is only allowed in the NAVpilot 300.
@Tommyryan01 specifically you can NOT conduct Suzuki Drive features with a NAVpilot 711c. You must use the NAVpilot 300 and meet all the items discussed in those documents.
