295 with a diplexed tm260

Hey Guys, I’ve ordered a set of SS175 low and high for my 295, there’s a fair lead time on getting the transducers due to covid etc, I’m just wondering if I can cut the plug off my “diplexed” tm260 and just run one channel the 200k high side, I’m not bothered with the low side as it’s just a Band-Aid to get me through til these new pair of SS175 arrive, will it still work ?

Yes, it should work but setup the Tap setting to "A" for that channel.

I’m just wondering if I can cut the plug off my “diplexed” tm260

Just to make sure (and for other reader's sake),

When you looked at the "diplexed" TM260 plug, it had a solid Blue and Black pair with a shield wire and no other pairs?

(In a non-diplexed TM260, the Blue/Black pair is the 200Khz side and the Blue/Black with a white stripe is for 50Khz.)
