I have a 1715 suddenly not powering up, all checks done and being out of warranty and far away from any maintenance center, I wanted to try and repair it being an EE myself and with a well equipped lab.
Found that external supply voltage reaches the DU main board 03P9320 but there is obviously something wrong in it as it does not react when trying to pwr it up - only a short current spike of few milliamps when pressing the PWR key.
Managed to download the 1715 service manual, but with big surprise the schematics for the DU main board is the only one missing while all others are there.
Need help from the community, can anyone please provide the full schematics diagrams for the DU main PCB 03P9320? Many thanks in advance.
