Can I add the to my NavNet 3D a Furuno DFF3D Multi-Beam Sonar and16550/200-SS260 transducer? Or do I have to up grade my MFD?

The DFF3D is only for TZT and above. Your system would require updating before you could add a DFF3D multibeam.

I have been thinking of up grading my B60 to a B260, could I use the 16550/200 and just use the B260 capabilities of it with my NavNet 3D and then later up grade to to the TZ? I can't really afford to do it all at once. Any chance that the NavNet 3D software will be upgraded so the 16550/200 can be used?

Thanks

I would recommend you call into tech support and discuss for clarity. The 165T-50/200-SS260 combo transducer has two transducers inside. The 165khz part is for the DFF3D and must only be used with that device. The NN3D won't ever be made compatible with the DFF3D because it doesn't have the needed horsepower. The other part of the 165T-50/200-SS260 combo transducer is a 50/200 transducer but it is NOT the B260 elements. It uses the B164 elements. You might look over the DFF3D transducer document that discusses this transducers in more detail. https://www.furunousa.com/-/media/sites ... _guide.pdf
Both transducers are put into the SS260 housing but that doesn't make it the same as the 260.
