Route Data Sharing Among Multiple TzT2's in Network

I see in the Tzt2 op manual whereby POINTS are automatically shared among networked displays automatically.
The op manual @ 5.1 says "Active routes can be shared..... via LAN. Data is shared automatically...."
What about inactive routes?
Must they be uploaded separately via data transfer to each unit?
If so, I'm confused by the manual-detailed process for data transfer that seems to refer only to the SD card as the recipient.
As you may guess, I'm transitioning from my Vx2's where waypoints/routes/tracks were copied from the networked displays only by a data transfer process.

Understood, the Vx2's were a lot different. With the TZT2's it is all automatic. "Active Route" refers to the current goto or leg of the route you are following (basically when you see the XTE displayed). As you create or add any points or routes to any TZT2 that is properly networked it will automatically populate on the rest of the network.
