Need to upgrade from my gp-1800 but want plug and play

Hi I have a very old GP-1800. The screen is bad. I would like to get whatever latest fish finder that furuno makes where the transducer connection in the back is the same. I want to unplug from the old one and plug into the new one and have it work. What would be the latest model Furuno made that I could do this with? I don't know if they ever changed the connections or not on newer units? Thanks!

That is indeed an older unit. It used a Furuno 10-Pin plug which our current recreational sounders also use.
I would recommend our FCV-628. You might need to run a different power cable, but the transducer should plug in. However, based on the age of the unit I would strongly consider replacing the transducers soon if you already haven't since new. Transducers, especially some of the inexpensive recreational ones, will eventually wear out.
