DFF3D Power On Questions

Does the DFF3D power up the moment it's connected to 12V? Or does it wait for some type of ethernet communication from a TZT?

Can the DFF3D power be switched on and off as needed without negatively impacting the navnet system?

Could you use the TZT 18-pin cable "power on for CAN bus" leads to run a relay that switches power on to a DFF3D?

Marmax,
The DFF3D has no on/off switch so as soon as you apply power it will come on. I have seen them wired both ways meaning on a separate (isolated) breaker and also on the breaker that is common to other NavNet equipment.
