best ducer for 295 in deep blue

Hello to all.
I write from Italy, so excuse for my poor English.
It 'a bit' I follow you, and I see that you are very prepared.
I "inherited" a Furuno 295 - only instrument without ducers.
I use for fishing deep, 500 meters and beyond, max 600 meters.
I wish I could see the fishes there.
What transducer do you recommended? Chirp/no chirp? And also what type of installation best suited? I have an open 26 ' diesel engine, and I do not care to use the sounding at high speed, I just want to see the fishes on drifting. Near a wreck or a rock, I'd like to see if there are fishes around or not.
Thank you all for the advice that you give me.
ciao

Gritta,
Thank you for your question.
Do you have some pictures of your vessel's hull you can post?

Snips

No sorry, it's like a catamaran. Two tunnels along the hull.
Now I have 2 transducers mounted in pockets, of an old Koden CVS 812c - 1kw.(50/200). Its works fine, but insufficient in that deep water. I see bottom line, but no fishes. I have no problem in working fiberglass, so I hope to do an upgrade with this new (for me, of course) machine.
Thank you, ciao

Gritta,
If you are good with fiberglass I would look at the Airmar PM111LM and CM599LM.

Hi Snips,
thank you very much for your precise response.
On the pdf of PM111 I read that it is an "in-hull" ducer. But, for best results (i suppose) I'll mount them on a flush mount (fiberglass pocket or conventional steel tank), not inside the hull, correct?

Gritta,
To be clear the R111LM is the in-hull version, not the PM111LM. I do not recommend the R111LM.
