Hi
I have a problem cannot connect max sea tz 2.1.2. with dff1 and transducer B258-
Manufacturer Part Number: 525TID-BHD I live in Bulgaria ,work in Black sea ,my friends who are living in Usa bought this devices from there .AIS is connected, NMEA too, the sounder doesn't as i follow all instruction .Any advice...

1. Ensure that mode switches are in the "Down-up-up-Down" position for the DFF1.
2. Connect an ethernet cable from the DFF1 to a switch, Hub or directly into computer.

Also please make sure all firewalls are off on the P.C

On the computer

Open the Network Connections list windows.

1. Windows 7/Vista: click on the start button and in the "Search Programs and files" box type NCPA.cpl and press enter.

2. Window XP: click on the start button and click on Run. Type NCPA.CPL in the Run Box and press enter.

IP.Address 172.31.3.100
Subnet Mask 255.255.0.0

Click Ok
Click Close

Hi I did everything many times ,tried with crossover cable, normal too ,the program cant recognize the tranducer .
Also used IP.Address 172.31.3.100 and IP.Address 172.31.3.150
Subnet Mask 255.255.0.0 Subnet Mask 255.255.0.0
Must to do update dff1

is it possible to update DFF1 , because i cant connect TZ3 as i followed all instruction .
