7000F route import

I currently use a cable to connect my PC to my 7000F to download routes from Coastal Explorer to my chart plotter. Is there a format/way to save the route to an SD card and then import the route from the card? Is there a size limit on the SD card that I use for this purpose?

If your GP7000F/NT has the most up to date software, then it can read and write to a 2GB SD card. For waypoint and routes, you need very little memory space and smaller cards tend to work better. You would have to check with coastal explorer about what it can do but I know that C-Map/Jeppesen PC planner software can save directly into the correct format for the GP7000(F)/NT.
