GP33 connection to 12v panel

I recently purchased a new GP33 GPS. I will be using it as a stand alone system on my
O'Day 28 sailboat. Do I cut the plug off one end of the M-12 cable to expose the red/black power wires to connect to 12v panel? Or is there a connector( with red/black wires exposed and plug in on other end)?

Yes you may be able to partially cut the m-12 cable exposing the black and red wires.
Once that happens you can connect it into the vessels 12V supply panel.

No there is no connector on the power side.
