GP-1870F red flame symbols?

Hi, last time I used the GPS there were red flame symbols scattered all over the plotter screen.. any idea why these symbols suddenly appeared and can we get rid of them?

Take a look at the attachment under "Attention Areas"...Was it the "Military practice area (firing danger areas, mine-laying practice areas, etc.)"?

thanks reaper, no the flame symbols seem to be on all areas of the plotter map.... they were not there previously.

If you eject the chart card and look at your screen, do you see these flames still? If not, then it's something on the chart card end that is showing this information. If you haven't been playing with the chart display settings in the GP1870F, then something happened to the C-Map card would be my guess. One thing you can try is pushing the little white button next to the chart card to clear the system (backup your points and routes prior to doing this to be safe).
