Good morning to everyone!
I'm from Spain from eastern shore called costa blanca, and already purchased a FURUNO combo the GP1870F with and 1kw in hull transducer, and we discovered on the furunousa.com that comes with WIFI built in! But it does'nt support android devices!!!! how it can be??? you've got plan it to give support to android?

The case is that we use the tablet at work with PLAN2NAV, we can design the route and discuss the fishing spots by the weather forecast we put the track and... thanks to the software (we are using android devices) we can't share it to the GP1870F...

It has to be a "easy" way to connect android devices to the GP1870F...no??

Can anyone help me, please?

The current interconnectivity only allows the viewing of the current screen you are using on the GP1870F. In other words if you are looking at the sounder, your iPad shows the sounder. There is no data transfer or control available. I will admit that the sounder repeater is nice when in the cockpit, but there is no control.

At this point in time we have no information on when or if an Android connection will be available.
