Hello, I have an older 1942 MKII open array. It appears there is a short circuit on the monitor. The wire tests ok, I have tried it without the array disconnected and it blows the inline fuse immediately. Anyone have this issue? Is it repairable? Any recommendations on repair shops either to send it out to or in the lower New York area? Thanks.

If you still had the scanner cable connected to the display; try it without it. The scanner cable might have gotten a screw through it. Disconnect everything from the display but the power cable. If it still pops the fuse, the display should be repaired or replaced. It is possible to use the display from a 1945 and reuse your existing scanner/cable if they are still good.

Thanks for the response..I tried it with everything disconnected and it still blew the power. Ill look into finding a 1945. Thanks
