hi folks
i have a navnet vx2 rdp149 connected to a 48" 6kw open array, with arp11 arpa board fitted.
the arpa heading input comes from my simrad robertson ap 35 pilot
however the update rate is too slow which caues the arpa to "break down"

would a furuno pg1000 heading sensor be sufficient to provide stable arpa?
many thanks
mick

Mick,

Yes a PG1000 can supply the required heading information by utilizing the NMEA0183 (Ver.1.5) Outputs HDM (Magnetic Heading), HCC (Compass Heading) or using the AD-10 Output heading information for your VX2 ARP-11

Deep Blue - :)
