Navnet VX1 to Garmin 5215

I'd like to be able to view the radar on my Garmin 5215. Because of glare issues, I cannot see the existing VX1 screen well so I'd like to export it to the Garmin. My VX1 does not have a vga out card or a video out card. What do I need on the Furuno end and/or the Garmin end?

Normal radar image would not be view able on any screen other than your connected NavNets. If you leave the NavNet showing the radar and you have added the Video OUTPUT option (15 pin VGA) it can be taken to a normal VGA monitor or anything that will accept VGA video. I doubt the Garmin will accept VGA video.

I do know the Garmin has two rca video inputs. Is there a way to convert the Furuno vga to those rica inputs?

Nothing that we sell, but I am sure there are after market items to convert 15 pin VGA to Composite.
