I need to drive my autopilot from the RDP 148. From previous info one need an Actisense opo-4 device connected to Data Port 3 via 7 pin Furuno Cable. I cannot find the pin assignments to connect the opto-4 to the cable or to the NEMA device. Any help would be appreciated.

There are many level converter choices on the market. Many customers use the Nolan Engineering XP15 NMEA expander as both a level converter and expander to utilize the RS232 port of the 7" display. Actisense is also a good company for converters. The input and output wiring of almost every product we sell can be found on the interconnection diagram at the back of the manual. (normally page S-1) The RDP148 RS232 data transmit is pin 1 (white) and the RS232 data receive is pin 2 (BLUE). The signal ground is the bare shield wire of the data cable.
