I am trying to add fishing boundaries to my 1824C display (with VX2 C-Map) and I am not having much luck. I have entered waypoints for the boundaries but am unable to connect the waypoints with lines. I have 10 different boundaries (rectangles) that I need to add. Any information would be much appreciated.

Section 3.7 describes how to create lines and marks. This is what you should use to create boundaries'.

I already tried that but had a couple of issues. I have to enter close to 50 marks and it appears that you can't enter the marks directly, only using the track ball. Is there a way to enter the coordinates directly like waypoints? Also, when I finish drawing a line on the first boundary and try to draw a line on the second, it would connect the dots and draw a line from the first to the second.

As I don't happen to have a vx2 available I suggest that you try and call our tech support at
360-834-9300 while you are on the boat. They should be able to talk you through the procedure.
