Is Furuno going to offer an upgrade to VX2 that will utilize existing Navnet equipment? Maybe a touch screen with a faster processor and the same size displays that will plug and play.

NavNet 3D is the next step up from VX2. You can utilize the same GPS antenna, Network Fish Finder, Compass and any other NMEA0183 device you currently have connected to your VX2. The Radar antenna will have to be changed out, because the technology has changed between VX2 and 3D. Also, the actual MFD display will have to be changed as well.
