Navnet 3D dropping active routes during use

Using a pair of MFD12 Navnet 3D's (V2.11) with the GP33 feeding the MFD's via NMEA 2000, and MFD's are networked together via Hub101. On several occasions our boat operators reported the active routes dissappearing from both displays. This is intermittent and seems to only occur at med-high speeds. There are only about 40 routes stored and the time settings do match on each unit. Any ideas?

It is recommended that you match the times on each display. Mixing times on the display units will cause issues. Since the NN3D has been out since 2008, it is doubtful you are finding a new undiscovered issue with routing. It is possible some of your grief is caused by improper settings like your time and operational issues involving your waypoint arrival settings. If you continue to have issues please contact our tech support or open an official case.

On the NAVNET VX2 only the waypoint bearing and range are shared between plotters and if the XTE (route) is restarted from a plotter that did not initiate the route the route will now end at the next waypoint. Does the NAVNET 3D share the routes the same way or is the whole route shared between plotters?

The entire waypoint database and route database is shared between all NN3D units. Unlike the Vx2, if you put a point into one machine it will be shown in the listing of all machines on the network.

When the route is active is the entire route shared or just the next waypoint? I understand that all waypoints and routes are shared but I wasn't sure about when the route is active.
