Hi, I have a mfd8 hooked to a dff1 fish finder and 520 ihd inhull transducer and cannot get digital depth readout.Thanks

In the installation wizard have you set the DFF1 for depth on the sources tab?

Yes, the system drop down menus for transducers doesn't have mine listed so have set to manual setting. At some point I was also getting a Stand by message.

Try adjusting your bottom level to a lower number. That is the function for digital depth.
It will be in the sounder menu.

You can do a search on this forum as it has been discussed number of times.
Let us know if this resolves your issue.

Yes, I have digital depth reading. However the range is way too deep. We are in 200 ft and trolling at 40-160 ft. I have set in auto/fishing with some success , but still needs more tuning.Thanks

Further, our depth range seems to be way high, I am getting a bottom reading but at the very top of the screen, not showing any info between bottom and surface.

Justified-
I'm a bit confused on your questions. The digital depth adjustment was just for the digital depth reading. Is that now displaying and reading accurate?

In your sounder menu you can adjust the range steps for the fish finder screen.
