Update Procedure

I read the instructions for doing a software update on the TZTL 15, which says to use the card slot normally used for the charts.

Is it possible to copy the update files to a USB memory stick and use the USB port for the update instead?

Was told no by tech support and also my TZT2 would not recognise a micro SDXC 64G extreme plus chip. A standard 8GB micro card worked fine FWIW
