I have a brand new TZT2 screen I just installed in a pilothouse helm on a 48 foot Trawler.
While under way I often receive a warning message of "Position Lost" at the top of the screen and I lose all navigational function.
Even though it restores in less than a minute on most occasions, this is not a good scenario while running in tight quarters or in fog. It happens often enough that I have lost confidence in the unit.
I presume that the integrated GPS is not seeing enough sky being installed in the Pilothouse. That being the case - is there the capability with this unit to install an externally mounted GPS on the Pilothouse roof?
