Radar disconnect Alarm

I have a recently installed tz9. I am experiencing a radar disconnect/position lost alarm. The radar is in standby mode but it seems to be occurring when I key the mic on my radio. The radio antenna is more than 6 feet from the GPS receiver. Any thoughts?

If your GPS is connected to the radar and the radar connection drops, so will the GPS position.

It almost sounds like the toroid core wasn't used on the install or that someone has used plastic or unshielded network connections. It might be best to discuss your install in detail with one of our techs.

Or perhaps voltage drop?

I have just experienced this exact thing. Did you ever figure out the issue?
