tz touch wifi

Hello,
My marina uses beacon wifi for their wifi service. In order to login to the Internet you have to login through a portal. Is there anyway I can use the wifi to download weather data?

In theory, if you have a good connection and the local site is setup properly (to notify the unit that a browser login is required) the TZT would automatically pop up with a browser allowing you to do so. We have found it rarely works with most browser login sites. Furuno is looking at modifications to make this better for those types of connections. Open wifi or using your cell phone as a hot spot normally works best for downloading the NavCenter weather. Software updates are best done via the SD card. Using the wifi for connection to iOS devices for the remote apps are direct and don't require a live connection to function.
