TZTBB monitor video resolution

TZTBB monitor video resolution

Postby MarkW » Wed Oct 04, 2017 4:38 am

Hi,

I have a question about a Furuno TZTBB, i have connected via KVM matrix a old monitor that cannot take more then 1280 x1024. For some reason the TZTBB is giving out 1920X1200, no lower resolution. Is there a way to forced the tztbb to give out a certain resolution?

No you can't set the resolution. This is done in automatic negotiation with the connected monitor. What tells you the TZTBB is putting out 1920 x 1200 ?
The specs of the TZTBB supports 1280 x 720, 1280 x 800, 1280 x 960, 1280 x 1022
Have you tried another monitor?

It goes wrong with the EDID negotiation apparently.
My suspicion is that the EDID message gets lost. So the TZTBB thinks he has to provide a 1600x .... resolution, and that is to high for the other old monitors.
It is because mixing old stuff with new stuff.
Do you think a EDID manager would do the trick?

I have no experience in it. I would recommend a newer display recommend by your dealer. Most dealers have recommended models they work with besides the Furuno options.
