We are pleased to announce a software update is now available for our NavNet 3D product line. This major update delivers TruEcho™ CHIRP compatibility, Zeus™ Mode and much more.

Some of the features and enhancements included in v2.11 software include:

TruEcho™ CHIRP Network Fish Finder Compatibility - Version 2.11 lays the ground-work for our upcoming introduction of the DFF1-UHD Tru-Echo CHIRP Network Fish Finder. TruEcho CHIRP will provide exceptional broadband resolution, along with Bottom Discrimination and Accu-Fish functionality for the MFD8, MFD12 and MFDBB. Complete details regarding the DFF1-UHD will be announced in the very near future.

Zeus™ Mode - Zeus drive's route navigation is now automatically deactivated after reaching the final destination waypoint.

New AIS SART Icon - Instead of a generic AIS triangle icon, a SART icon is now displayed when AIS-SART messages are received.

Axis H.264 Video Format Compatibility - MFDBBs with the current "DUX" motherboard (serial number 4350-3067 and up - shipped as of March 2012) are now compatible with the H.264 video format. Note: The H.264 video format is not compatible with the MFD8, MFD12 or MFDBBs shipped prior to March 2012.

Additional Improvements - There are several other improvements and corrections incorporated into this software revision. A detailed list of improvements can be found in the "NavNet 3D Version History" file under the software tab, for each MFD product on our website.

Software Update Instructions - NavNet 3D MFDs must be updated to version 2.11 using the "Combo Update" procedures. Instructions for applying this update can be found under the software tab of the individual MFD product pages on our website.

MFD8s and MFD12s require a formatted SD-Card (2GB) while the MFDBB requires a formatted 2GB or larger USB Flash Drive. Software can be downloaded from software tab of the individual product pages on our website. Alternatively, a pre-programmed USB Flash Drive or SD-Card can be purchased directly from Furuno USA for a nominal fee:

• For MFDBBs with serial number up to 4350-3066 (original "Kontron" motherboard):
USB Flash Drive Part #NN3-KON-JMP - List Price $25.00

• For MFDBBs with serial number 4350-3067 and up (current "DUX" motherboard):
USB Flash Drive Part #NN3-DUX-JMP - List Price $25.00

• For all MFD8 and MFD12 MFDs:
