FA-100 receveing class B ais

Hello,
I have a older FA-100 AIS and it does not apear to recive class b trasnissions. Is it possable/coast effective to have it updated so it does? and how does one go about haveing it done?

FA100 AIS units sold prior to the FCC approval of class B (sometime in 2009) should have the firmware updated to support the newer class B messages. The update is very difficult and not available to users. We even recommend authorized dealers to send the unit into the factory service center for update. If your operations do not allow for the time needed to send the unit in; please contact your local authorized dealer for service.
