Multiple gps receivers

New boat came with 2 furuno gps receivers: gpa-017s and what i believe is a gp330. Do we need both? They seem redundant. We'd like to reuse the mount for another instrument if both are not necessary.

You don't say what equipment is on your boat, but I will assume you have a NavNet 3D, or TZT with an FA50 AIS connected.
The GPA017s is for the AIS and the GP330B is for the navigation MFD. While the position from the AIS can be used as a back-up for position I would not advise removing either.

Boat uses a pair of tztouch units.
