NavPilot 511 Rudder indicator calibration

My NavPilot 511 was installed new in 2006. After recent rudder and post removal, repair and reinstallation, the NavPilot reads 1-2 degrees to starboard when the rudder position is "neutral" (0 degrees) while underway at cruise speed. I know the rudder position sensor rod is mis-adjusted but access to it is difficult. Is there a way to compensate by re-calibrating the NavPilot to read 0 degrees when the rudder is centered without having to struggle with and readjust the position sensor rod?

Thank you for the help.

Yes, you should redo the rudder setup (port, starboard, and center) and then conduct a rudder test for the pilot to establish the correct parameters. Even if your rudder was reading zero, this should be done after any sort of rudder maintenance.
