Alarm buzzer specifications for 711C

The manual for the 711C shows that an external buzzer can be added if the internal one is not loud enough. Is there a specification for the buzzer or a suggested part number or model? I already know I'll need the external buzzer and would like to mount an LED as well. This way I'll know the difference between an Alarm from the 711C and the bilge alarm - also at the helm. Thank you.

Most Furuno buzzer ports are 150ma to support a standard Furuno buzzer like part number 000-030-097. The pilot might have a bit more current available but as you found, it isn't documented. If you have high current requirements for horns or other items, it is recommended to have the port connected to a relay, so you can power the items directly without loading down the buzzer port.
