Speed Control on Navpilot 700

I am interested in putting a Navpilot 700 on my Peterson Formosa 46 sailboat. Does anyone have experience with these units on sailboats? I would love any feedback.

Specifically, Does the Navpilot 700 have "speed control" over its directions to the drive unit? IE, is it capable of varying the speed the drive unit moves the rudder? Many modern pilots use pulse width modulation to accomplish this, and this helps reduce the load on the drive unit.

Thanks in advance for replies.

Depending on the drive unit used it will vary the speed. Our reversing pumps and hydraulic linear drives operate this way.
