Nobeltec to assume North American support

Furuno has enjoyed an excellent technical partnership with MaxSea and its related companies for over 10 years. In 2009, MaxSea's parent company, SigNet, purchased software manufacturer, Nobeltec. Located in Beaverton, OR, Nobeltec is now the main sales, support and development organization for both Nobeltec and MaxSea product lines.

Nobeltec will assume responsibility for all sales and support of the MaxSea TimeZero Navigator and TimeZero Explorer products, along with all accessories, including the Weather Routing and Furuno Sounder modules, effective October 1, 2014.

While Furuno USA will cease sales and technical support of MaxSea navigation software products on October 1, 2014, Furuno USA will continue to sell and support MapMedia charts in mm3d format for use in NavNet 3D and TZtouch Multi-Function Displays.

Furuno USA will maintain MaxSea product information on our website and forum for a period of time to ensure a smooth transition to Nobeltec support.
