Tztouch2 and transducer question

Hi,
I have on my boat installed an Airmar P66-10F 600W Transom Mount Furuno 10 Pin with a Furuno NavNet TZtouch2 12.1in MFD Chart Plotter / Fish Finder. I usually fish between 400 ft to 1000 ft. what would be the best set up to get the best result? or Do I have to change the transducer?

Do I have to use a Black Box Fish Finder for the TM-260?

No, as long as it has a 10-pin connector it will plugged in directly. It is a 1kW transom mount.
