TZ2 transducer question

I bought a TZ2 MFD unit, DIFF3D and 165T-50/200-TM260 Transducer for both.

I also have a speed through water (STW) transducer/Triducer for my Yamaha engine package that I plan on networking to the TZ2 MFD.

Question is, can I obtain the STW value and display it easily in the data boxes as if a Furuno transducer obtained that information. If not, what are my options?

You can use that Yamaha Transducer that will be on the NMEA 2000 network. You will need to go into settings-initial setup-Data source. select the Yamaha transducer under STW. now when you put STW on the Data Bar the information will be coming from the Yamaha.
