SCX 20 to Furuno FCV1150

I tried to order a SCX21 to hook up to my FCV1150 but I have just been told that the SCX21 will not be available in Australia until November.
I am now looking at getting the SCX 20 and hooking it up to my FCV 1150 for heave compensation and also using the Heading for my autopilot and radar. All of the units on my boat are NMEA 0183.
Could you please tell me if I can use the SCX 20 for the above mentioned devices and also what would be needed to make it all integrate?

The SCX20 will most likely be harder to get your hands on than the proper SCX21. At least here in the USA, the SCX20 is in higher demand. (they both are) If you decided to go with the SCX20, you will need to establish a proper NMEA 2000 bus and then will require the NMEA 2000 to 0183 converter (IF-NMEA2k2) to provide the heaving information to the FCV1150.

Do you know if a scx21 will talk to the drs4d radar through my tzt2? It’s not the nxt radar they do…

The DRS4D would receive heading from the TZT2, as long as the TZT2 has it to provide.

Hi,
I am running 1150 with TzT2.
i have 2k network installed in the boat.

i also have Scx-20 which is communicating with TzT2.
i have now installed 2 x IF-NMEA2k2 converters to the system from the 1150.

1 is normal speed which is connected into the 1150
IF-N2K Blue/Yellow - 1150 Nmea1 Td-A
IF-N2K Blue/Green - 1150 Nmea 1Td-B
IF-N2K Pink - where do i connnect this pair ?
IF-N2K Pink/Black - where do i connnect this pair ? NMEA2?

Other IF-NMEA2k2
is high Speed which i have Connected

IF-N2K Pink - 1150 Nmea1 RD-A
IF-N2k Pink/Black - 1150 Nmea1 RD-B

How do i confirm Scx20 data is being imported to 1150?
Stabi settings only have Scx30 and Scx50/100 options?

Do i need to adjust Nmea settings on 1150?

i currently have it set as
Nmea1083 version 2
Nmea Port In/Out
Nmea Output Off
TLL output - TLL

These settings currently Allow 1150 to send mark function coords to TzT2.

is anyone able to advise if i need to make any wiring/program changes.
