Really big AIS offset from echo

So I am on this ship using a Furuno FAR2338S and the offset between the AIS and the echo makes it unusable. It's like 13NM longitudinally. I have tried reading through the manuals but can't find anything, so unsure whether it's some kind of mistake in the settings by previous officers or something regarding the AIS input.
All I could find online was regarding minimal displacements, resolved with the adjustment of heading.

In the picture below, the AIS actually corresponds to the echo at 312 degrees bearing.
