Mfd 8’s and simrad auto pilot

Hi Everyone

I have a pair of 8’s on a network and a simrad ap44 nac2 auto pilot . They all see each other on the network…. I can select nav when there is a go to selected on the chart plotter, but it won’t go into Nav mode on AP and follow a route. I have NMEA sentences selected. Are they compatible over 2000? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Just a guess, in Settings on the AP44, check your sources.

Sorry, I should have mentioned the nave source is mfd8 it shows off until you hit a go to, then it recognises the mfd8 it just doesn’t show Nav on the ap and steer to a waypoint

Then it feels like there are PGNs missing. Do a search on this site, there are a number of posts that list the PGNs that need to be enabled for the Furuno AP, assume it would be the same for Simrad.
