1971 display setup

I've had the unit about a month and so far so good. I was able to customize the plotter to my liking except I can't find out how to make the screen automatically follow me when the boat goes off the page ie: i'm following a course thats longer than the page and the boat runs off the edge but the display does not shift. I need to move it manually on the screen. I know it's probably a simple setting but....any help?

At the top right there is "center" icon to center the boat on the current GPS location. If you hit that and don't touch anything else it will continue to keep the boat in the middle of the screen as you move. If you go into browse mode by moving and looking at other things it will no longer follow the boat until you go back and re-center on the boat and let it stay in boat tracking mode.
